Fall came to northern California with a big thunderstorm this October - rain, hail, lightning and thunder, then sunshine. While our weather can be exciting, most of us yarnies are looking forward to a drop in temperature just in time to start our wool, mohair, and cashmere projects. We've got fantastic yarns coming in weekly to help get you started, classes to improve your skills, and special workships and KALs to help you prepare for the holidays.
Closing at 4pm, Tuesday, October 18th
Many of you know local designer and fellow yarnie, Cori Schrader
, and her fantastic hat and accessory patterns. Cori recently released Temperance
, a quick-knit vest in a Super Bulky yarn with a modern and body-flattering diagonal front design. We carry many of Cori's patterns in the shop as well as the yarn, Noro Transitions
, used in her latest design. Come in to try it on and get started knitting!
In October we welcome back northern California designer Diane Soucy
, of Knitting Pure and Simple
designs. She is offering her popular Top Down Sweater
workshop which teaches you how to design your own top-down, seamless sweater with custom design fit. Get personal advice on yarn weight choices, necessary tools, and how to modify your design for that "special" fit.
