Got Your Goat Yarn Studio
THE BOUTIQUE STORE FOR YARNS
Can a store be more than just a place to buy supplies? Absolutely! Our staff is always on hand to answer questions about what products are best for your project. We also offer knitting and crochet workshops and classes.
Our classes change monthly, so check our website often to see if there is something here for you. If there is a particular class that you are interested in and do not see it on our calendar, send us an eMail at GoatNews1@hotmail.com to let us know and we will do our best to add it to our schedule.
GYG Store Update!
Here is a long awaited update on our store status. In case you haven’t heard, Placer county has a low number of confirmed coronavirus cases and is allowing businesses to slowly reopen. Due to this, we are following our county’s guidance for retail stores to conduct business and additionally, are implementing some of our own protections.
We are putting in place recommended safeguards while we slowly reopen the shop. We will be disinfecting our high contact surfaces multiple times including our payment portals, pens, and doorknobs will be sanitized after every use.
We know that a large number of you enjoy our community, but we need to limit the number of people in the shop to no more than 6 at a time. This allows us to keep the 6 feet physical distancing in place.
As for us, we are happy to prevent as much unnecessary contact as possible so if you’d prefer for us to handle your purchases curbside, mail order or delivery, we are happy to accommodate you.
So with all of that precursory information, we are slowly reopening our store with temporary new measures in place.
Starting May 14, 2020 we will reopen our doors four days a week with limited hours.
From that date, we will be open on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays. We will still be closed on Sundays. Our limited hours will be 11:00-3:00 on those days.
Many of our suppliers are operating with limited inventory and we are following up on new yarns that we ordered before all of this started. But, Kathi has managed to wrangle some new deliveries while this has been going on and finished a cute sweater that she is happy to “kit up” and send your way with some of the new yarn.
We are happy for all of your support even during this time and we cannot wait to see all of you again!
